The next step is finished!!!!! The long awaited v-mount set up is complete. We also installed the Tial Q 50mm BOV. The intercooler is a DTM with costume fabthis intanks. Theres also our costume stainless radiator hoses. The car runs great with the new v-mount, iv actually noticed the car runs 35F cooler between 40-55 mph's then with the old front mount. Theres actually a couple reasons that make a proper v-mount set up badass. One of the main reasons is cooler engine temps, not just the coolent and radiator but the IAT's (Intake Air Temp) will be lower as well. The intercooler now has air going through it and over top of it, meaning more surface area getting air. The radiator is now alot cooler because it does not have the warm front mount air and the fins are actually getting alot more direct air. Instead of the air just going through the radiator, the air hits the fins then deflects on through the fins. Better throttle response in re-turn gives you better spool and better boost efficiency. This set-up also puts alot less strain on the turbo. Example: Say you are pushing 30 lbs of boost. Your boost gauge is hooked up to your intake and your making 30 lbs at your intake. But your pushing id say 32-34 lbs at the turbo to make your target boost at your intake. Because your trying to push that boost through 5 or 6 feet of intercooler piping and a front mount. By taking away all that pipe you are making it alot easier to push the air from one side to the other side. As always thank you for your support :)
